An exciting opportunity to support the leadership of Child and Family Services through working in partnership with the sector and others to undertake and support a range of projects and key work areas.
Cardinia Shire Council works in partnership with community, government agencies, non-government organisations, schools and service deliverers to meet the needs of children and families in the Shire. Council strategically plans for the development of Child and Family Centres with on average a new centre being built every two years. It manages the licence agreements in place with Early Years Managers for Kindergarten and secondary support services that operate from the centres. The Kindergarten Central Enrolment Scheme is central to this work to ensure all children have equality of access.
We are seeking an experienced community facilitator with expertise of working in partnership with early years stakeholders and who holds a passion to improve outcomes for children. The work will be varied and will align with the range of responsibilities around the build, activation, licencing and utilisation of the Child and Family Centres, which includes attracting appropriate services to operate from the centres. It will supervise the work of the Kindergarten Central Enrolment Scheme.
Measuring success and outcomes for children and families is crucial in order to evidence the strategies in place. This role will actively collect, collate and analyse quantitative and qualitative information to inform Council and others.
