Biodiversity Planner (12 months mat leave)
- Full Time (maternity leave tenure until 18th August 2018)
- Band 6A-B ($39 - $40 per hour approx.)
This role will work within the Environment Team to provide advice to our strategic and statutory planning teams on local, state and federal planning policies related to the natural environment (including native vegetation, threatened species, waterways), design, develop and implement community education programs that promote biodiversity, and coordinate implementation of threatened species policy and programs.
This is a great opportunity to join our environment team, if you have qualifications in environmental science, environmental planning or similar, and have knowledge and experience providing advice in an environmental planning role then this could be the role for you.
Knowledge of local indigenous plant species and threatened species is required.
